Calvi and the Balagne region

Balagne is a region in Upper Corsica, situated on the north-west coast of the island. It stretches from Nebbio (Agriates desert), delimited by the Ostriconi river, to Sevi-in-Fora in Corse du Sud and the Monte Cinto massif. Its principal towns are Calvi and L'Ile-Rousse.
