This pretty little village is a commune of the Filosorma, south of Calvi, where the mouth of the Fango is located. Galeria is a tourist resort at the gateway to the Scandola Nature Reserve, which offers unspoilt nature and a haven for many protected species.
At the entrance to the village, on a small hill, the Genoese tower of Galeria (or Calcinaghja) offers a magnificent panoramic view over the bay of Galéria, and can be reached by foot from the parking lot. A few metres from the tower, the path continues to the Riciniccia beach, with the sea on one side and the Fango river on the other. In the distance, the mountains of Paglia Orba and Capu Tafunato remind us that this village is closely linked to the shepherds of Niolu.
Further on, in the center of the village, you can discover the church with its small square and various shops. Then make a mandatory stop at one of the many beaches and coves, where you won't be able to resist taking a dip in the crystal-clear water and discovering the richness of the seabed.
Finally, for hiking enthusiasts, there are numerous footpaths such as the Tra Mare E Monti.

- The Fango River and valley: In the Fango valley, you'll find many beautiful bathing spots. The river, with its crystal-clear water and round, polished coloured stones, flows out of the striking Paglia Orba, which rises majestically in the background of the valley. To the right of this, you can even recognize the hole in Capo Tafunato. Crystal-clear water everywhere forms larger and smaller pools. Some are so deep that you can jump off the rocks without any problem. As the road is never far from the river, bathing spots are easily accessible.
